Fonts

Arial. Jesus, what a piece of shit. If you really have to rip off Helvetica for your shitty pointless business document that no fucker is ever going to read, at least use a font that kerns properly, has self-consistent forms, uses ligatures and alternate glyphs, and use Nimbus Sans L or TeX Gyre Heros instead.

Better yet, grow a fucking sense of adventure and use any number of freely available open-licensed and good looking sans-serif fonts for general text body use, like Oxygen, Gandhi Sans or Rosario.

Better still, use a fucking serif font for body text, that's why we evolved serifs over a thousand years in the first place to make shit easier to read. If you are going to stick to Times New Roman because that's the only thing in Microsoft Word, then I hope you fucking die in an industrial accident involving hazardous waste. Otherwise, why not try out any of millions of great open-licensed serif text fonts, meticulously designed and honed for making walls of text like your boring-arse specification document a pleasure to read? For instance, anything designed by Frederic Goudy or Claude Garamond, like say, Goudy Bookletter, Sorts Mill Goudy, or the excellent open-source recalibration of Garamond's famous Humanist font, EB Garamond.

I feel better now... I would make this a blog post but it's rubbish without all the swearing
