Why is Epiphany a cool browser?

  • Your quick searches (bookmarks with %s in the URL) are available in the address bar. Type in your keywords, and pick a search from the list.
  • Highlight text on a page, look it up with a quick search.
  • Tag your bookmarks. Type the tag in the address bar, and pick a bookmark from the list.
  • Epiphany will arrange your bookmark folders for you based on your tag taxonomy.
  • Built-in Adblock plus.
  • Uses same gecko rendering engine as firefox.

Why is it naff?

  • It won't let you use Firefox extensions, so there's no WebDeveloper, Firebug or Selenium.
